Internet-wide vulnerability has been discovered in the SSLv3.0 protocol, referred to as "POODLE" (Padding Oracle on Downgraded Legacy Encryption). This vulnerability affects all legacy internet browsers which rely on this protocol and impact your ability to access ePlan and other websites.

Effective immediately, any user that currently uses Internet Explorer 5 or earlier versions, will no longer have access to LeasePlan's ePlan portal. Any user of Internet Explorer 6 must upgrade to a newer version or change their internet settings using the instructions below. More recent versions of Internet Explorer have properly configured these settings as default - however - if you are unable to access ePlan you will need to confirm the settings below.


Instructions for enabling TLS 1 encryption or higher in Internet Explorer:
1. Go to your Internet Explorer and open "Internet Options"
2. Click on the "Advanced" tab
    
3. Select TLS 1.0, TLS 2.0 and TLS 3.0 check boxes (at minimum TLS 1.0 is required to be checked)
    
4. Once you have selected the TLS 1.0, click "Apply" then hit "OK"
